Launching Paper-Based Compostable Capsules in the Netherlands

At VML, we developed the Dutch launch campaign for Nespresso’s new home-compostable paper coffee capsules. The campaign introduced a more sustainable way to enjoy Nespresso coffee, highlighting innovation through a natural, tactile aesthetic.

To bring the message to life, we adapted the beautiful paper art originally created for the French market and extended it across a wide range of touchpoints. The intricate textures and organic shapes perfectly reflected the product’s eco-friendly story.

Our creative roll-out covered out-of-home, print, display banners, store windows, and construction site billboards supported by Nespresso’s international TV commercial featuring George Clooney. The campaign reached audiences across all major Dutch cities, making sustainability visible in every corner of the urban landscape.
