Naeckte Brouwers
naturally naeckt
Naeckte Brouwers is a craft brewery based in Amstelveen, founded in 2011 with a strong focus on traditionally inspired, characterful beers. With an independent and creative mindset, the brewery blends classic brewing techniques with modern ideas, resulting in distinctive beers enjoyed both locally and beyond.
As the range of beers expanded over the years, visual consistency across labels was lost. The brewery decided to return to the basics. Most Naeckte beers are brewed with organic ingredients and are known for their layered flavors, which called for a clearer color system and a coherent label design that reflects their core values: simplicity and accessibility, combined with layered taste experiences.
In the redesign, the logo remained unchanged. A simple, modular label system was introduced, based on a black-and-white layout with interchangeable, desaturated “flavor” colors to emphasize the organic character. The labels are built up in clear layers, each conveying specific information and hierarchy. Typography is mostly functional and understated, while the name uses a more expressive typeface inspired by the modernist architecture of Richard Neutra, resulting in a clean, timeless system that can easily be expanded.
